1. CARDIAC ANGIOGRAPHER (TRAINEE)

Responsibilities :
- To undertake the responsibility to carry out radiographic procedures in the Department of Radiology, wards, OT, Nuclear Cardiology Unit and the Invasive Catheterization Lab (ICL) under the supervision of Senior Cardiac Angiographers/Cardiac Angiographers.
- To ensure Radiation Safety / Protection Protocol are practiced.
- To assist the Cardiac Angiographer in :
- ensuring that all radiographic, fluoroscopic and angiographic equipment are well maintained
- compiling data for statistics, quality assurance, registries and research purposes
- To adhere to the 1 year training program outlined - Cardiovascular and Thoracic Sciences
program by IJN College.
Requirements :
- Degree in Medical Imaging or its equivalent and recognized by the Ministry of Health
Malaysia.
- The candidate to undergo 1 year Cardiovascular and Thoracic Sciences Program in IJN
College with clinical posting at Department of Radiology, IJN
- The Candidate must be healthy and physically fit to work in an ionizing radiation field and
able to handle any Radiographic equipment and Gamma Camera.
